La Fête Française: Puttin' on the Fitz 2016
It's 1924 and Prohibition has taken hold in America. The summer is hot, but French francs are not. On the continent, a handful of American dollars will buy you an endless quantity of fine champagne.
It's Paris and there's a perpetual party at the Dingo American Bar. Cole Porter is here, so are Pablo Picasso and Man Ray. Archibald McLeish mingles with Robert Benchley. Fernand Legér salutes Rudolph Valentino. Isadora Duncans apartment is just down the street, and so is Mademoiselle Kiki De Montparnasse.
The atmosphere is exuberant. The guests are exotic. The language is ex-pat patois. America's hottest celebrity couple, Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald, have just arrived on the scene...
